Guggenheim gives full Frank Lloyd Wright rotunda to Taryn Simon

The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York has closed its Frank Lloyd Wright-designed spiral rotunda to install a new interactive work by Taryn Simon. The exhibition opens 18 September 2026 and runs through 14 March 2027. Simon, born 1975, will fill the entire ramp with photographs, text, video and sculpture — a rare full-rotunda commission for a single artist.
