Indie game bundle on itch.io raises over US$100,000 for laid-off developers

A bundle of 127 indie games — US$1,023 at retail — is selling for a minimum of US$10 on itch.io, with 100% of proceeds going to the Game Industry Hardship Fund. The fund, established by United Video Game Workers/CWA in July 2026, provides direct relief to North American developers affected by layoffs. As of 3 August, 7,194 buyers had contributed over US$100,000, averaging US$13.96 each. The bundle has roughly ten days remaining.
