Lucy Dacus releases Blaze Foley cover ahead of 'Sittin' With Blaze' tribute LP

Lucy Dacus has released an acoustic cover of Blaze Foley's 'Clay Pigeons,' the third track on 'Sittin' With Blaze,' a 13-track tribute LP due August 7 on Lost Art Records. The album also features Lucinda Williams, Phosphorescent, Willie Watson and Lydia Loveless. Foley, an outlaw country songwriter fatally shot in 1989 at 39, has drawn covers from John Prine and Michael Cera.
