Como agree £30m+ deal to sign Chelsea's Trevoh Chalobah after nearly 20 years at the club

Como have agreed a deal worth more than £30m to sign Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah, ending his near-20-year association with his boyhood club. Chelsea receive an initial £25.7m plus £5.1m in add-ons. Como manager Cesc Fabregas pursued Chalobah for over six months, seeing off interest from Inter Milan. Chalobah joined Chelsea as a child and debuted under Thomas Tuchel in 2021.
