Henderson joins Chelsea on two-year deal after Brentford exit

Jordan Henderson has signed for Chelsea on a free transfer after Brentford mutually terminated his contract. The 36-year-old midfielder, who captained Liverpool to the 2019-20 Premier League title, has agreed a two-year deal running until June 2028. Henderson made 34 appearances for Brentford last season following spells at Al-Ettifaq and Ajax.
