Peter Alexander will launch "State of Play," a daily political program, on MS NOW at 11 a.m. from Monday, August 10, per Variety. Alexander left NBC News in March. Greg Kordick, MS NOW's senior vice president of programming, billed the hour as "authoritative and original reporting" on the day's biggest political stories. Alexander will also serve as breaking-news anchor and national correspondent.
