CNN Appoints Stefano Pozzebon as Rome-Based International Correspondent

CNN has appointed Stefano Pozzebon, 35, as an international correspondent in its Rome bureau, Variety reported on 3 August 2026. Pozzebon most recently reported from Venezuela after twin earthquakes killed thousands, and covered the U.S. capture of Nicolás Maduro. He will cover Italy and Europe for CNN's linear and digital platforms, working alongside Vatican Correspondent Christopher Lamb.
