Street Fighter movie cross-promotion takes over Cody Rhodes's SummerSlam match

WWE SummerSlam on 3 August 2026 doubled as a Street Fighter film promotion. The PPV opened a Street Fighter 2-style character select screen, sponsor branding covered the match, and Cody Rhodes — who plays Guile in the film releasing 16 October — wrestled CM Punk in full Guile gear. Punk retained the WWE Undisputed Championship. Gears of War: E-Day also sponsored the event.
