Nolan Says His Odyssey Shares Oppenheimer's Theme of Civilizational Collapse

Christopher Nolan told Chinese podcaster Zhong Shu in Beijing on 30 July 2026 that his upcoming Odyssey adaptation partly grew from working on Oppenheimer, which he called a film about "the end and collapse of civilization."
