Shadowbox takes over Kaufman Astoria after $340M loan default triggers foreclosure

Shadowbox Studios now manages New York's Kaufman Astoria Studios after a court-appointed receiver placed the facility under its operation, Deadline reports. Deutsche Bank filed foreclosure in April, alleging default on a $340 million loan held by owner Hackman Capital Partners. The 11-soundstage complex, built in the 1920s as Paramount's East Coast home, has hosted Sesame Street, Goodfellas and Succession.
