Tanović's Oscar-winning 'No Man's Land' to close Sarajevo Film Festival Open Air

Danis Tanović's 2001 Oscar winner *No Man's Land* will close the Open Air programme at the 32nd Sarajevo Film Festival (14–21 August). The film, set in 1993 during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, traps a Bosnian Army soldier and a Bosnian Serb soldier in the same trench. It screens under open sky in the city it depicts (The Hollywood Reporter, 3 August 2026).
