Square Enix denies Kingdom Hearts Collection artwork was AI-generated, blames human error

Square Enix told GameSpot that artwork for its newly announced Kingdom Hearts Collection was created by its development team without generative AI, after players flagged irregularities including Donald Duck shown with four fingers on one hand and five on the other. The publisher attributed the issues to human error and has replaced the artwork.
