León and Cociña's first live-action feature 'Donkey Princess' premieres at Locarno

The Hollywood Reporter premiered the trailer for Donkey Princess (Princesa Burro) on 3 August 2026. The third feature from Chilean directors Cristóbal León and Joaquín Cociña, known for stop-motion in The Wolf House (2018), it is their first performed entirely in live action. It world-premieres in Locarno's International Competition on 7 August. Bendita Film Sales handles international sales.
