Skinner leaves Manchester United Women a month before season opener

Marc Skinner has left Manchester United Women by mutual consent, one month before the 2026-27 WSL season starts on 4 September. The 43-year-old spent five years in charge, winning the 2024 Women's FA Cup — the club's first major trophy — and reaching the Champions League group stages in 2025. He signed a contract until June 2027 in April 2025.
