UEFA threatens legal action against Infantino over scrapped World Cup privatisation plan

UEFA has told FIFA president Gianni Infantino it is "actively considering legal action, arbitration, and/or regulatory complaints" over his plan to sell stakes in World Cups to private investors — a plan he has since scrapped. UEFA demanded Infantino preserve all documents and electronic records ahead of potential proceedings. Wales withdrew backing for his re-election.
