Singapore permanently bans two Massive Attack members after Palestinian flag onstage

Singapore authorities have barred Massive Attack's Robert Del Naja and Grant Marshall from re-entering the country, with future performance applications not approved, after they displayed a Palestinian flag at the Star Theatre on 29 July. Singapore prohibits public display of foreign national emblems without a permit — a framework applied to Gaza-war-related expressions since 2023. The band said the entire group was detained and questioned by police after the show.
