Wonder Man Season 2 Had Scripts, Contracts and a Writers' Room Lined Up When Disney+ Pulled the Plug

Disney+ renewed Marvel's Wonder Man in March 2026, then reversed that decision in July. Showrunner Andrew Guest told Deadline contracts were signed, schedules cleared, the writers' room was set to begin, and he had written Season 2's first episode with a full outline. Guest attributed the reversal to an internal Disney–Marvel decision that continuing "didn't make sense for them."
