Gerima's colonial epic grows at BlackStar: 623 minutes listed, up from Berlin's 531

BlackStar Film Festival's guide lists Haile Gerima's "Black Lions – Roman Wolves" at 623 minutes — 92 minutes longer than the 531-minute cut that premiered in the Berlinale's Forum section in February. BlackStar also flags scenes from horror films and genre gore. No distributor for the five-part survey of Italy's colonial legacy in Ethiopia has been announced, Deadline reports.
