Disney+ cancels Marvel's 'Wonder Man' after one season, reversing March renewal

Disney+ reversed its March renewal of Marvel's "Wonder Man," cancelling the series after one season, Variety and Deadline reported on 31 July 2026. The show drew 618 million Nielsen-measured premiere-week minutes, and lead Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is Emmy-nominated for best actor in a comedy series. Disney+ has given no public reason. Abdul-Mateen II wrote on Instagram: "See you at the Emmys."
