Ransom notes in Nancy Guthrie case demand bitcoin millions and claim her death — unconfirmed by police

Pima County Sheriff's Department released two ransom notes on 31 July that Tucson media received after Nancy Guthrie, 84, vanished from her Arizona home on 1 February. One demanded $4–6 million in bitcoin. A second claimed she died of heart issues shortly after abduction — a claim authorities have not confirmed. No arrest has been announced.
