Modest Mouse sidelines guitarist Simon O'Connor from tour after allegations of inappropriate messages to a minor

Modest Mouse announced on July 31 that guitarist Simon O'Connor will not join its North American tour, beginning August 4 in Ojai, California, after a Reddit user claiming to be 17 accused him of sending an "erotic image" and commenting on their "bikini pics" when they were 16. O'Connor denied the allegations on Reddit, claiming he believed the recipient was a troll. Seth Jabour of Les Savy Fav replaces him. No charges have been reported.
