Locarno 79 to honour Gray, Aronofsky, Efira and Saldaña with Leopard awards

Locarno's 79th edition, running 5–15 August 2026 in Italian-speaking Switzerland, will present James Gray with the Career Leopard, Darren Aronofsky with the Honorary Leopard on 14 August in Piazza Grande, Virginie Efira with the Leopard Club Award, and Zoe Saldaña with a Special Leopard, per The Hollywood Reporter. Locarno's top prize remains the Pardo d'Oro, or Golden Leopard.
