Cricket Regulator charges Middlesex with misconduct for third time in four years

The Cricket Regulator charged Middlesex CCC on 31 July 2026 with breaching ECB Directive 3.3 — conduct bringing the game into disrepute — over former CEO Andrew Cornish's alleged behaviour toward an employee. The CDP has already upheld the complaint against Cornish, who denies wrongdoing and may pursue a wrongful dismissal claim. Middlesex has faced three misconduct proceedings since 2023.
