Fleming named England Test coach, Root returns as captain

Stephen Fleming replaces Brendon McCullum, sacked after the July T20 series against India, as England's Test coach. Fleming, appointed in consultation with Joe Root, begins with the winter South Africa tour but misses the Pakistan series. Root returns as Test captain over four years after resigning. Harry Brook leads the white-ball sides instead.
