Rochdale back in the EFL after Wembley comeback and penalty shootout

Rochdale returned to the EFL after three seasons away, beating Boreham Wood 3-1 on penalties in the National League play-off final at Wembley. Trailing 2-0 with 13 minutes left, Tyler Smith pulled one back and Dieseruvwe equalised in the seventh minute of stoppage time. After a goalless extra time, 18-year-old on-loan Manchester City goalkeeper Oliver Whatmuff made two decisive shootout saves.
