Screenwriter Craig Mitchell directs his first feature in decades with 'Los Vampires,' reviewed by Variety on 31 July 2026. The film dramatises Universal shooting 'Dracula' twice on the same sets in late 1930 — Tod Browning's English version with Bela Lugosi by day, George Melford's Spanish version with Carlos Villarias by night. Henry Ian Cusick and Thomas Kretschmann star. It screened at Fantasia's 30th edition in Montreal.
