Tao of Glass opens at @sohoplace — Philip Glass and Phelim McDermott's West End premiere

Philip Glass and Phelim McDermott's Tao of Glass has opened at @sohoplace, the in-the-round Nimax venue at 4 Soho Place. The piece mixes puppetry, Glass's music and pseudo-memoir across two acts. McDermott performs alongside puppeteers Sarah Wright, Janet Etuk and Vic Llewellyn. Factory International, Improbable and Nica Burns present. Booking runs to 12 September 2026. The show premiered at Manchester International Festival in 2019.
