Blue Bloods cast took 25% pay cut to save the show — CBS cancelled it anyway

Tom Selleck told the "Where Everybody Knows Your Name" podcast, recorded live in Santa Barbara, that the entire Blue Bloods cast accepted a 25% pay cut to keep the series beyond its 14th season. CBS cancelled it regardless. Selleck, who played Frank Reagan across all 14 seasons (2010–2024), called the outcome "very frustrating." Deadline reported the remarks on 31 July 2026. CBS has not responded.
