Lois Pearson shoots perfect 17/17 off the bench as England fight back to beat South Africa 58-54

England trailed South Africa by six at the first quarter of their Commonwealth Games match on 30 July 2026. Centre Imogen Allison then left with an ankle injury. On came Lois Pearson at goal attack. She scored 17 from 17 — eight in the second quarter alone — as England won 58-54 to reach the semi-finals against New Zealand on 1 August.
