Madonna and Julia Garner share the screen in a two-part episode of Apple TV+'s The Studio, filmed in Venice in March 2026. Garner won the lead in Madonna's self-directed biopic after a "Madonna bootcamp"; Universal Pictures scrapped the film in 2023 over a budget clash Madonna described to Interview magazine. Season 2 also stars Bryan Cranston, Kathryn Hahn and Ike Barinholtz.
