Starz premieres 'Fightland,' its first original series since splitting from Lionsgate

Starz premiered 'Fightland' on July 31, a British boxing revenge drama starring Howard Charles as Duke Kilroy, a heavyweight champion who loses his title, serves nearly eight years in prison, then returns to London seeking revenge. The series is Starz's first commission since its separation from Lionsgate (The Hollywood Reporter, 30 April 2026). Sky is co-commissioning partner (Deadline, 26 February 2026).
