NBCUniversal names former NFL executive Christopher Halpin as CFO ahead of Comcast spin-off

NBCUniversal has named Christopher Halpin as chief financial officer, starting 8 September, reporting to Comcast co-CEO Mike Cavanagh. Halpin spent nearly a decade at the NFL as chief strategy and growth officer. Current CFO Randy Culbertson stays in a new, unannounced role. NBCUniversal is slated to be spun off from Comcast within a year.
