PBS's 'American Experience' orders four-part FBI history for autumn 2027

PBS's 'American Experience' has ordered a four-part documentary, 'The Bureau: A Secret History of the FBI,' to air in autumn 2027. Directors Sharon Grimberg ('McCarthy') and Sarah Colt ('Walt Disney') will trace 'the rise, weaponization, and survival' of the agency, per GBH's 30 July 2026 announcement. A three-part 'Lindbergh' series precedes it in May 2027.
