England set Games record to win men's team pursuit gold at Glasgow 2026

England beat Australia by 1.131 seconds in the men's 4,000m team pursuit final at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games on 30 July. Their time of 3:47.092 set a new Games record. The winning quartet: Ethan Vernon, Charlie Tanfield, William Tidball and Noah Hobbs. It is England's 24th track cycling gold across all Commonwealth Games.
