White Wolf announced Vampire: The Masquerade 6th Edition at Gen Con 2026 on 30 July 2026, per Variety. A free alpha playtest — an unfinished rules draft open to public testing — launched the same day on the Demiplane platform. Jess Lanzillo, World of Darkness creative director and former Wizards of the Coast executive, leads the project. It is the first edition developed fully in-house since White Wolf's 2025 relaunch.
