John Leguizamo in Talks for Daniels' Untitled Universal Film Opposite Matt Damon

John Leguizamo is in negotiations to join Matt Damon in the untitled film from Daniels — Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert — at Universal, per Deadline on 30 July 2026. Sandra Oh, Charles Melton, Michael Gandolfini and Sean Kaufman round out the cast. Kwan and Scheinert write, direct and produce through Playgrounds. Shooting is set for later in 2026. Universal had no comment.
