Netflix has acquired worldwide rights to "Avedon," a Ron Howard documentary about photographer Richard Avedon, The Hollywood Reporter reported on 30 July 2026. The film premiered at Cannes in May. Imagine Documentaries and Fifth Season produced it with The Richard Avedon Foundation. Netflix plans a late-2026 platform release and an awards push.
