Clooneys evacuated French estate overnight as Brignoles wildfire threatened nearby town

George and Amal Clooney evacuated their hilltop estate, Domaine du Canadel, with their twins overnight as a precaution during the Brignoles wildfire, Deadline reported on 30 July. The property was not under official evacuation order. The Var prefecture declared the fire under control the same day. Roughly 650 residents on Brignoles's southern outskirts were ordered out and later returned.
