Court orders Mitch Winehouse to pay $1.3m to Amy Winehouse's friends after auction lawsuit fails
Justice Sarah Clarke ordered Mitch Winehouse, administrator of Amy Winehouse's estate, to pay £963,851 (about $1.3m) in legal costs to Naomi Parry and Catriona Gourlay. He sued them in 2023 over auctions of Winehouse's belongings. Clarke ruled on July 29 that Amy had gifted the items during her lifetime, defeating the estate's claim.
