V&A East Storehouse staff vote 100% for strike over 'Amazon-style' conditions

Prospect union members at the V&A East Storehouse in Stratford voted 100% for strike action on an 88% turnout, reported 30 July 2026. The union described conditions as "Amazon-style": collections access officers get no morning or afternoon breaks, limiting access to water and toilets. Across all four V&A London sites, 83% voted to strike over a below-inflation 3% pay offer. Strike dates are undecided.
