Simone Forti, choreographer of 'Dance Constructions', dies at 91

Simone Forti, the choreographer whose instruction-based "Dance Constructions" placed her at the centre of Fluxus, has died in Los Angeles at 91. Her gallery, Raffaella Cortese, confirmed the death. Born in Florence in 1935 to a Jewish family, Forti fled Italian fascism for the United States. The New York Times, Artforum and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, all published tributes.
