A24 Takes Domestic, Focus Takes International on Sonoya Mizuno's Directorial Debut 'Stages'

A24 has acquired domestic rights — the United States and Canada — to 'Stages,' Sonoya Mizuno's directorial debut, now shooting in the U.K., Variety reports. Focus Features has boarded international rights and will distribute overseas via Universal Pictures International. The ballet-school drama stars Julie Delpy, Emma D'Arcy, Kathryn Hunter, Takehiro Hira, and Kate Dickie. No release date is set.
