FIFA Proposes Selling 20% of the World Cup to Kushner-Linked Investors in $20bn Deal

FIFA announced on 28 July 2026 a plan to create FIFA Forward Enterprise, a $20 billion commercial spin-off offering outside investors up to 20%. FIFA confirmed to The Times that Joshua Kushner — brother of Trump's son-in-law Jared — would be the proposed lead investor through his fund Thrive Eternal. The plan still requires approval from FIFA's member associations.
