Jaime Lorente's Directorial Debut 'The Bad Son' to Open San Sebastian's New Directors Section

Jaime Lorente López, known to streaming audiences for his screen acting, makes his directorial debut with 'The Bad Son,' opening the New Directors section at the 74th San Sebastian International Film Festival (September 18–26, 2026). The 106-minute Spanish production centres on 11-year-old Ruben, who moves in with his grandmother after his father mysteriously disappears.
