City Inspection Contradicts Lineage Logistics' Cleanup Claim at Boyle Heights Fire Site

A July 28 city inspection found decaying organic waste, sludge, and nearly 200 flies at the Boyle Heights warehouse that burned in June, leaving 85 million pounds of spoiled food. This contradicts Lineage Logistics' July 25 claim that waste had been cleared. LA County's health department issued six citations totaling $4,500 and will begin daily fines up to $2,000.
