Rainibogi shatters Games snatch record minutes after Tchatchet sets it

England's Cyrille Tchatchet II set a Commonwealth Games snatch record of 166kg in the men's 110kg weightlifting final at Glasgow 2026. Minutes later, Fiji's Taniela Rainibogi walked to the platform and lifted 170kg to surpass him. The snatch takes the bar from floor to overhead in one continuous motion.
