US Ends Diplomatic Pause, Resumes Strikes on Iran

The United States resumed strikes on Iran on July 30, 2026, ending a five-night pause President Trump had allowed for diplomacy. Trump said the US would "be hitting them very hard." The US and Israel have been at war with Iran since February 28, after 13 consecutive nights of strikes before the brief halt.
