Dual Meteor Showers Peak Together on July 30–31, 2026
On July 30–31, 2026, the Alpha Capricornids and Southern Delta Aquarids peak simultaneously. Meteors will radiate from two points — Capricorn and Aquarius. The Alpha Capricornids yield about five per hour but are noted for bright, slow-moving fireballs. Post-midnight viewing under dark skies offers the best observing geometry — the angle at which meteors enter the atmosphere most visibly.
