UK publicist Neil Reading dies at 56

Neil Reading, the UK entertainment publicist whose clients included John Cleese, Lenny Henry, Dawn French, Jason Manford and Victoria Wood, has died at 56 following a short illness, The Sun reported on 29 July 2026, with Deadline confirming the news on 30 July. Reading founded Neil Reading PR in 1992 and also launched West End shows including High Society. He is survived by his wife Claire and daughter Rosa.
