Gere and Crawford's children cast together in FX's The Shards

Homer Gere (born 2000 to Richard Gere) and Kaia Gerber (born 2001 to Cindy Crawford) co-star in FX's The Shards, premiering August 5. Their parents divorced in 1995. Homer Gere told E! News they "hadn't met before shooting" and first met at a cast gathering two weeks before filming. Ryan Murphy adapted Bret Easton Ellis's novel. FX ordered the series straight to series.
